lol Rusty, That might be me. There was one other Mark VIII in the 12's last year if I recall - a silver one. An Impala tree'd my sorry ass and got the win to knock me out. I just dug out the slip. I was car 281. That was the best race I ever lost!

I am looking forward to this year, and step up to the 11 second class if all goes well, and I can keep the car at 11.5 and up - no roll bar. Most of the websites are still quiet, but I plan to start a little smack talk to liven things up a little. See you in the lanes!

yessir, i was #34, sorry 'bout that. maybe we'll get a rematch. you're correct that was the best race i had all day. you want to come out ahead but when you have to guess who crossed the line first the adrenaline is pumping til you get to the shack. those runs were with either a 100 or 150 shot on a 200K stock bottom end. 2 months later snapped the crank and 2 piston rods. this year i'll have a 383 in there and hopefully running 12.0s w/o the gas and then pushing for a big dog berth on the spray. look forward to seeing you soon!

ryan, are you guys going to be doing anything @ the shootout? i will only have some 1/8th mile runs under my belt before getting down there. i've got a points race this weekend and if i want to run it'll be in the stock wagon, lol.
