Lincoln Mark VIII breaks into the 12's!
With a dedicated customer a lot of time and plenty of thought Injected Engineering built the perfect Mark VIII. Mike Schultz's 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII came to Injected for a complete make over including a custom Vortech S-trim setup with an air to air intercooler. The car breaths air through a 2005 Mustang GT style MAF that is set up as a blow though meter. It releases the air through a set of Kooks custom mid length headers and a custom built header back exhaust by Grand Muffler. The car also sports a Precision Industries stall converter and Bradshaw Performance 4R70W transmission that is built to withstand whatever power the Mark throws to it. The Lincoln was tuned by Aric Carrion with the help of a Dynojet Dynomometer and SCT software. The result is a 4000lb Lincoln that can still be driven across the country with the air conditioner on watching DVDs on the in dash screen or making 12 second quartermile passes any day of the week!
