Speedfactory Charger goes 10.97 @ 127mph

With the help of many manufacturers and weeks of burning the midnight oil Injected Engineering and Speedfactory built the king of all police cars. Yes, this 690rwhp Dodge Charger started life as a police car! Far from its original roots this Charger sports a built 426 with CNC ported heads, intake and custom cam. To help feed this Hemi Beast a Vortech V3 Supercharger was installed with a custom fabricated air to air intercooler. Arrington Race Engines supplied a 90mm billet Throttle body to allow all the extra air to enter the intake and American Racing Headers donated long tubes and mid pipes to help evacuate the exhaust. Following the supercharger a fuel system would be needed to wash down all the extra air that the Hemi would be injesting. So a Magnafuel pump and filters were installed with Aeromotive fuel rails and fuel pressure regulator. The stock fuel tank was scrapped in favor of a 10 gal. fuel cell in the trunk. After Aric Carrion of Injected Engineering completed the dyno tune a decision was made to supply the car with Holeshot rear wheels and 28x10x16 Hoosier slicks. BMR supplied the car with half shafts to help strengthen the drivetrain and finally it was off to the 2008 LX and Beyond Nationals in Columbus Ohio. The Speedfactory Charger was the fastest car at the event with a 10.97 @ 127mph!
